A letter to my children

Dear Allison, Kaitlynn , and Jason,

I love you all to the moon and back 500 times over! Please know I’m trying my best to be a good mom. I know I’m not perfect, and probably yell to much, but understand I’m trying to do it all and sometimes I blow my lid. Try to understand I’m tired a lot but keep going because l need me to run smoothly.

Please try to help when you are asked. Pick up after yourselves and be kind to one another. I know you all love each other so show it. I want you all to know I’m here for you when you need me, just let me know and I’ll be their. If you mess up, I will still be there and will be until my last breath.

Remember you can tell me anything, And don’t lie. Always tell me the truth and I will always stand For you. Try your hardest in life in school and in everything you do and you will be successful oneday.I’ll be watching proud with happy years running down my face.

Know I give you rules to keep you safe. Not to be mean. I’m here to guide you into the right direction to grow you into happy successful adults and I will work everyday  of my life to be sure that happens for all 3 of you, I promise that. You are all GREAT kids, somtimes you have to work harder to to get there. Always be here to help you through anything life throws your way! And .most important of all never forget I love you so much! And you will all be my babies in my eyes.

  1. Love this. Love your thoughts on helping kids with what is right for them (rules!) rather than giving them just what they like. Completely agree that we don’t have to be perfect but we learn in the process, by the day 🙂 Great advice – Thanks for sharing!
