Super Simple Fried Rice

Ok so it’s new to the menu Monday and I’m a little late this probably won’t be published tell Tue. But kids were at grandma’s over the weekend so we didn’t make a new recipe I thought I’d share an old favorite in our house my easy peasy Fried Rice! Kids all like it and so do the hubs and I so here’s to hoping your family does too!

  • So what you’ll need:

  1. 3- 4 cups cooked white rice
  2. Sesame oil ( just enough to not quite cover bottom)
  3. 1 full cup of frozen peas and carrots (you should thaw, but I never do)
  4. 1/2 an onion
  5. 2 tsp jarred garlic
  6. 3 eggs slightly beaten
  7. 1/3 cup soy sauce (Or less, don’t wanna over do the salty. Taste as you go)
First things first, add some oil to your pan. Heat over med/high tell it’s screaming hot! πŸ”₯

Now your gonna Add your Peas, Carrots, Onion, and garlic. Cook untell tender, then push it all over to one side of your pan…
So you can scramble up your eggs on the other side. Scramble up your eggs tell done…
Then add in your rice and soy sauce blend well, heat for a couple minuts. Then voila! Fried Rice! And you didn’t even have to leave the house!

I normally just make some frozen orange chicken (don’t judge, it’s a lazy dinner night recipe) and can, have dinner on the table in less then 30 min.

My family really enjoys this one too! My oldest even just reqested this for her 11th birth day dinner. I think my husband even likes it, even tho he will never admit to liking anything! Lol.

Easy right? So if you like fried rice (and who doesn’t) try this recipe out for a change of your favorite chineese take-out! Let me know what you think after you doπŸ˜‹!
